Of course there are no pirates. However, there still are a few things that may spoil a vacation in Anguilla. First, is that ATM, or automatic telling machines, are rare in this island. There are a few in the valley but not near the port. Credit cards also cannot work their magic in this country. Thus, incoming vacationers are suggested to secure enough cash in order to minimize the hassle.
Another is relative to most places with ample sunshine and water. There are lots of mosquitoes in Anguilla. Although there is no proof that they are the virus-carrying kind, it is still not good to be scratching the whole vacation time. In order to prevent this dilemma, travelers are advised to bring mosquito repellant lotions or armbands.
A third thing to be reminded about in coming to Anguilla goes to vacationers who plan to rent a vehicle during their stay. In this country, people drive on the left side of the road. Those who are not used to this system better practice, if not drive slowly but surely to avoid accidents.
