China Beach has become popular among the foreign tourists in Vietnam. This long, silver-white sand beach has never been touched by the hands of commercialism. It is very clean and is considered as one of the best beaches of the country.
The popularity of this beach is attributed to the American and Australian soldiers who were in the country during the Vietnam War. The soldiers spent time relaxing on this tropical beach when they were not on duty.
Accommodations on China Beach are mostly made up of guesthouses. A few food stalls, small restaurants and some variety shops also line the beach.
