As with many Southeast Asian nations, Thailand's climate is very tropical, which means long and humid summers coupled with the heavy monsoons that come during the rainy seasons. Summer typically is from November until May, with the hottest temperatures recorded during April and May. June is the start of the rainy season, which lasts until October.
