The Tajikistan culture is derived from the people's origin, the Persians. The language as well as other aspects of the culture is similar. There are also hints of influences by the Afghans and the Uzbeks who colonized the country. The country's major religion is Zoroastrianism, an Afghan original, while the cuisine is more from the Uzbeks.
