Getting visa for a trip to Syria is almost the same as other countries. Application may be submitted to the nearest Syrian Consulate or embassy within the applicant's country. It entails submission of documents such as a passport with a minimum validity of six months and at least one blank visa page, two fully-filled out visa application form, two recent 2 x 2 photos, and the invitation letter from a local travel agency.
After submitting these requirements the visa will processed for five to eight business days. The validity of an issued visa is three months from the date of issue.
