Pakistan Good to know |
It may not be believed but Pakistan began as a non-Muslim country. It was an urbanized civilization in Asia, gradually brought to destruction by consecutive invasions of more powerful countries. Only when the Muslim traders stepped into the land did the people assimilate the Islamic religion. They were followed by the Mongols then the British traders. From the year 1850, the country remained under the British rule.
On the onset of the 20th century, people became concern of growing domination of the Brits through administration of the country. Soon rebels demanding autonomy began to pop from different parts of the country. From these revolutionary groups other historical circumstances sprang. There had been the partition of the country, the martial law and finally the renewal of democracy in the country.
