Largely living under the norms of the Muslim religion, Pakistani culture is the Muslim way. However, there are still customs and traditions that were not limited by the country's major religion. The countries literature is mostly in Urdu, English, Punjabi and many other languages. The poetry is not entirely speaking of the religion's philosophy. The music also adheres to the ancient sounds. And the drama and theatre of the country does not circle mainly on religious relations of Pakistani life. Instead, it tackles about the normal everyday occurrences.
Despite the existence of many religion-unrelated parts of culture, the country's festivals are ultimately religion-based. Ramadan is the most important celebration, The Eid celebrations are next to the list. These are all national occasions that acknowledge the beliefs of their religion.
