Japan's weather varies from region to region. Although all of them generally experience four different seasons, the beginning and end of a certain season differs. Snow sometimes falls in the region near the pacific while it is only the middle of fall in another area.
March up to the month of May is springtime in most parts of Japan. Summer begins on the onset of June and ends after August. It is usually hot and humid throughout this season, with the temperature averaging to 28 degrees Celsius. While those in the highlands are sweating profusely, people in the low-lying cities are commonly unaffected by the heat of this time. Subsequent to this is the season of brown leaves and lawn sweeping, fall or autumn. After most trees run out of leaves, snow will fall, marking the start of winter. The country becomes really cold during this period with the temperature playing around 30 to 10 degrees Celsius. Thick winter jackets are advised to be worn until the end of the February.
