The Glossary
If you're young, tech-savvy, trendy or all of the above, you have to go to Shibuya! There are four train lines that pass here, so you can't miss it. It is also a short walk from Harajuku, another fashion district.
PARCO (in Koen-dori), 0101, and 109 (ichi-maru-kyu in Japanese) Building are huge malls where you can find the latest in Japan's street fashion. The equivalent to New York's Times Square, Center Gai is known for its huge televesion screen and the many boutiques and restaurants surrounding it.
If you get hungry, there are a number of options that you can try to fill your stomach. The Tokyo Department Store offers a lot of food samples that trying each can have you full in no time. This is a cheap and easy way to eat, if you don't mind not having a place sit.
Before heading back to your hotel, why not try and have your photo taken with the famous Hachiko, a legendary dog known for its loyalty? It's in the Hachiko Exit of the Shibuya Station.
