Who can enter French Guiana without visa?
Only nationals from Britain, Australia, Canada, United States, Japan, and other European countries may enter the country of Guiana even without visa. Beyond these countries a visa needs to be applied for.
How to apply
For those who wish to acquire visa to enter Guiana, documents and a visa fee will need to be submitted to the nearest Guianan embassy or consulate.
Required documents
The documents required when applying for visa to French Guiana are a valid passport with at least one blank visa page, two copies of fully filled out visa application form, two passport-type photo, proof of sufficient funds, and a visa fee.
Processing
Upon submission of the requirements, the visa will be immediately processed. This could take to up to one to three weeks.
Issuance
After waiting for a week or two, the visa will be issued and may already be used. It will have a validity 30-90 days from the date of issuance.
