The cooking of French Guiana is a mishmash of cooking tricks and strategies of the tribes that inhabit the country. There are traditional dishes that adhere to the Creole people, while there are also ones which carry s French palate. Despite this, there remains something in common. The main ingredient of most specialties is seafood as this is an abundant resource in the country. Spices are also utilized in completing a Guianan dish.

The country of French Guiana is famous for the delectable serving of many kinds of dishes. Some of them are bouillon d'aoura (a mix of any seafood flavored with aurora fruit), fricassee (meat with rice and beans), and the country's version of curry.
Special drinks
The country also has its own version of rum, which the natives call Ti Punch. It is drink made out of lime and sugar cane syrup, typically used to push down food after meals.
