British nationals, Singaporeans, and Malaysians may enter and stay in Brunei without visa for up to 30 days. Citizens of United States are given three months, while Canadians, French, Dutch, Germans, Swedish, Norwegians, Swiss and Belgians only have 14 days to stay in the country. Citizens of countries besides these given are required to have a Brunei visa before entering the country.
The usual requirements when applying for a visa are a passport with six months validity and free visa pages, and a ticket or proof of return and onward travel. If coming from a county infected with Yellow Fever, a certificate of vaccination is also required.
