Police begging for money

When visiting temples in Cambodia, brace yourself for some occasion that a police officer will flash his badge at you.  It cab be a terrifying experience, since you might think that you've made a violation.  In fact, most of the time he's just begging for money.  So, as a general rule, if you know you didn't do something wrong, just walk away.
