Drive to Brunei from Malaysia

If you are already in Sarawak, Malaysia, you can rent a car there and drive straight to Brunei. The entry points are in Limbang Road at Kuala Lurah and Miri Highway at Sungai Tujuh. These roads have drive-through immigration checkpoints and you just have to show your passport if you come from a country exempted from a Brunei visa. It’s not advisable, though, to drive to Brunei from Sarawak during a weekend since the queue at the checkpoints is very long.
