Due to a large population of Muslims in the country, the nightlife in Bangladesh is not as active as other Asian countries. Bars can be found in Dhaka and other cities but these joints do not serve alcohol. They can provide the ambience through lights and sounds but not the booze. Booze can be bought only from other places and brought in most spots. The major bars that attract clients are usually international clubs like the Nordic Club and the bar inside Sheraton Hotel.
