The culture of Bangladesh is a mishmash of different religions. There are people who are into Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism, while others are patrons of the Islamic and Christian religion. Most of the traditions, customs, and beliefs of the people in this country are based on the virtues promoted by each of the religion. Even the festivals are thoroughly influenced. Two of the most awaited festivals are Pohela Boishakh (the first day in the Bangla calendar) and Eid ul-Fitr, which is the most important festival to the Muslim part of the Bangla society.
