There are a number of things to consider when planning a trip to Argentina. The best times in the country depends on many factors.
Destinations
There are many best times to visit Argentina. Of course due to the variation of weather from the opposite tips of the countries, the trip largely depends on the desired destination in the country. For people who wish to visit Buenos Aires, it is best not to do it in the months of December to February for even the residents of the city flees from the heat during this time. It is better to come in the remaining months of the year, for instance September to November, when the temperature is more stable and cool.
On the other hand, Patagonia is best visited in the months of June to August. This is the spring and winter months, a time when the city is experiencing semi hot and semi-cold weather. Perfect for afternoon walks and other outside recreation.
Budget
It is not best to come during the ski season (June-October) for people who are in a tight budget, because the prices of accommodations and other tour-related expenses shoot up at this time. January, February, and July are also money-eating months in Argentina
Festivals
Other than the destination to be visited, another thing to be considered when scheduling a trip to Argentina is the festivals and celebrations. For those who want to experience the Festival Nacional del Folklore, it is best to come in late January. Buenos Aires Tango happens in late February to early March. Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia also takes place within the same months. The famous Marcha del Orgullo Gay in mid November is a much awaited event that is also worth experiencing. Other celebrations are Eisteddfod (late Oct), Festival Nacional de la Cerveza (early Oct), and Festival & Mundial de Tango in August.
