Travelling with children to Vietnam, as with other countries, may prove to be a challenge for unprepared parents. Perhaps parents can explore the idea of going to water parks around the city and seeing fun cultural activities in Hanoi such as circus and puppet performances. Other options include visiting a crocodile farm on the Mekong Delta, rafting’ down a river in the Central Highlands or riding a pony in Sa Pa.

For fussy eaters, food might be a problem especially in the rural areas, but you can always prepare sandwiches in advance for a picnic.
