Core Pacific City

The Core Pacific City is probably the most unique mall in all of Asia. It is a complex of two buildings 12 stories above the ground and 7 underground. The first building is an L-shaped building where a variety of specialty boutiques can be found. This building is connected to the second building which is sphere shaped and it houses the Mira Department Store. From the outside, the whole complex looks like a giant golf ball encased with concrete.

Built in 2001, developers of the Core Pacific City expected it to adapt the behavior of local consumers to be much like that of the westerners. This mall is open 24/7 as well.
