Art enthusiasts flock to the Glass Art Street, which displays surreal glass sculptures in the outdoors for a month.
Those who have had their fill of the spectra of colors and forms can head out to the towering East Gate, arguably the town's prime landmark. Nearby is the City God Temple which boasts of vibrant murals, which date back to the 18th century. Shutterbugs will find delight in taking souvenir photos of the baroque-themed Hsinchu Railway Station, which looks like a slice of Europe in Taiwan.
