Barcelona is also blessed with appetizing looking beaches, mostly around the Olympic village which are great fun for kids too. They have good amenities, bars and restaurants all within easy reach.
At the end of La Rambla, you can't miss the sight of the Columbus monument, the founder of America who is pointing in the wrong direction.
