South American climate is predominantly wet and hot. However, due to its size climate varies for each region. The countries close to the Amazon River basin usually experiences a hot wet climate perfect for the growth of the rainforest. On the other hand, the ones near the Andes Mountains have a cold weather all throughout the year. The states close to the desert region, scarcely experiences rainfall.
