Protect yourself against sunburn

Since many activities in South Africa are done in the outdoors, you should protect yourself from sunburn by wearing sunglasses with UV protection, a big hat or headscarf, a comfortable cotton long sleeved shirt or a shirt with collar to protect your neck, and socks with sandals or lightweight closed shoes. Applying sun blocks with the highest SPF (sun protection formula) is also helpful, provided that the sun block lotion would not make you feel hotter and uncomfortable when under the sun.
