The Armenian Church was built in 1835 on Hill Street and is known to be the oldest church in the whole country. The church was designed by George Coleman and he regards this as his masterpiece. He dedicated the construction of the Armenian Church in Singapore to St. Gregory the Illuminator. Today, this church has been designated by the government as a national monument. Being a place of worship, visitors are required to dress conservatively.
