More about Serbia costs
Serbia’s official currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD), which is divided into 100 paras. Bills come in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 while coins come in 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20. The dinar has an exchange rate of 1 US dollar to 70.79 RSD and 1 EUR to 94.15 RSD. The regularly exchanged currencies are the US dollar and the Euro. Money should only be exchanged at official offices. There are some money-exchanging machines in Belgrade that accept the Great British Pound.
Getting around is made easy with rail passes that last from three to eight days. You can get discount for teenagers and children. Buses have comfortable facilities that take passengers through most towns in the country. Cities have the metered taxis but you can negotiate for the fare if no meter is used. Bus services in main towns offer multi-journey tickets.
