Affectionately called by the Nepalese as their own version of the famed Silk Road, the busy village of Kodari serves as an important border link between Nepal and neighboring China. Though relatively small, it hums with the activities of passing travelers, strings of wooden shanties, merchants ferrying their goods, and rumbling trucks. Probably the highlight of the trip to Kodari is the journey itself.
