Bandar Lampung Travel Guide
The gateway to the World Heritage-listed national parks of Sumatra is Bandar Lampung, a merger of two old towns and the largest city and administrative capital of Teluk Lampung region. A transportation hub, Bandar Lampung is the entry point to the historic volcano, Krakatoa, whose 1883 eruption is one of the most violent in history.
The sight of the iconic Andipura monument informs tourists that they have indeed landed on Bandar Lampung through an airplane from Java.
