Cobbled streets and uncanny Miao architecture have made Langde village the first stop of buses touring Kaili City in Guizhou Province. The village has a 15-kilometer path along the Bala River, giving tourists the opportunity to visit several Miao settlements where regular dancing, singing, and reed flute performances are staged. After the show, the friendly locals usually egg on tourists to buy some of their dyed clothes and silver jewelry.
Buses from Guiyang and Guilin and trains from Kunming and Changsha are the main means of getting to Langde via Kaili.
