Pol Pot's Victims Memorial

The Pol Pot's Victims Memorial marks the final resting place of hundreds of people killed during the time of the Khmer Rouge. Bones of the victims of Pol Pot are found here which were unearthed from 1981 to 1982. About a hundred or more mass graves that contains a dozen bodies on average were found and buried here. Along with the bodies are instruments of torture presumably used on the people.

Pol Pot's Victims Memorial marks a grim reminder of how harsh the regime was. These are just a handful of people who have lost their lives during that dark time.
