Pursat isn't much of a crowd-drawer nor does it contain great relics or stupas like in other Angkorian temples but for a visitor aching for a nice country drive followed by a panoramic view of rolling forested hills, Pursat may more than serve the purpose. This small town is famous for its marble carvers and luscious oranges.
Another thing that Pursat offers to would-be adventurers is a convenient access to the Cardamom Mountains which somehow raises its status as a potential for eco-tourism. Day tripper will get a glimpse of the life of the floating villages near the Tonle Sap, also worth capturing for a souvenir shot or two.
