Morro de Sao Paulo is one of the 5 villages which are found on the island of Tinhare in Bahia, Brazil. A unique thing out here is that cars are forbidden, so tractors are used as transportation to move from one place to another.
Another unique thing about Morro de Sao Paulo is that consists of not just one but five beautiful beaches. And each beach has its own spectacular look to boast about. Tourists can keep moving off from the hills straight away to the beaches.
The first beach has summer houses and is popular with surfers who come from all parts of the world to surf on the heavenly waves. The waters too are crystal clear and provide soothing relief to the eye. The beach also has restaurants tucked away at the seaside which serve delicious spicy cuisine. The beach functions as the landing area for the zipline, from the lighthouse.
The second beach or beach number two has nonstop music of all kinds playing on it. This beach is inhabited by young people or people who enjoy the youthful feel all around the beach. Parties are conducted all the time out here and never seem to end. The beach also displays Rodas de Capoeira, a rare form of Brazilian martial art which doubles up as an acrobatic dance too nowadays. This beach is a photographer's delight.
Beach number three again houses pousadas and restaurants along its shores. Snorkeling is a popular pastime out here because of the Caita Island. A large barrier reed is just close by. The island is close by and can be easily reached by using a kayak to paddle over to it.
The fourth beach is lined with corals on its shore in the various natural pools which exist out here. This beach is more popular for its relaxed pace of life and dream-like experience.
Encanto Beach can be accessed by going down a bit further and crossing the mangrove swamp and a small river too. It is also known as the Fifth Beach or Beach of Enchantment. Earlier, it was considered a part of Fourth beach but it now enjoys a reputation of its own.
