Located by the mouth of the Padma River, Pabna is one of the oldest towns in Bangladesh. The small town provides quick accessibility to Dhaka and Rajshani and is known in the region for housing the largest meat factory called "Bengal Meat" and for being the site of the oldest pharmaceutical company in the Bangladesh.
Visitors coming to Pabna may not have a lengthy story to tell back home after meandering for a day. They may, however, drop by Pabna's hallowed places. The Hindu temples Jor Bangla and Jagannath are considered the most impressive in this northern part of Bangladesh aside from the Varara Moshid, a mosque tucked in the heart of the district.
