Danang International Airport is the smallest of the three international airports of Vietnam. It has evolved into an important gateway into the northern provinces of Vietnam where a lot of tourists go to.
International flights of the Danang International Airport include Seoul, Medan and Siem Reap. Domestic flights on the other hand cover Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot and Qui Nhon.
Currently, the airport has two runways and the longest one is about 10,000 feet long. Its facilities are sufficient to handle larger aircrafts. In 2007, about a million and a half people went through the airport; this number is expected to rise to about four million in 2020.
