It is easy to miss the Chau Giang Mosque in Chau Doc, but you wouldn't want to. This domed and arched mosque is a magnificent sight. To get there, you will need to ride a ferry to Chau Giang and cross the Hau Giang River. After departing the boat, you will need to walk about 30 meters away from the river then turn left. You will find the mosque about 50 more meters away.
The Chau Giang Mosque services the local Cham Muslim community. Visiting here will let you experience their culture and their religious rites which is always amazing to see.
