Also known as Wat Ban Laem, Wat Phet Samut Worawihan is home to Luang Phor Wat Ban Laem, an revered image of Buddha. There are several legends that involve this Buddha image most notably the legend of the fishermen finding the Buddha images at sea and the legend about the five floating Buddha images.

The design of the Buddha image is debated. The sign at the temple says that it is of Sukhothai style while others claim it to be Ayutthaya style.
