The Maha Wirawong National Museum in Nakhon Ratchasima is a cultural and historical museum. It houses a collection of Thai as well as Khmer artifacts during the Ayuthaya era.
The objects that visitors will see in the Maha Wirawong National Museum include wood carvings, stone carvings, bronze statues, Buddha images and other religious artifacts. It is however, sad to note that the museum with all its historical significance is barely visited even if it is located at the center of town.
