Benjakiti Park

The opening of the Benjakiti Park is the first step of the tobacco company to evacuate the areas they cover and move their operations to Chiang Rai from Bangkok. This is one of the two parks that were opened due to the transfer.

The Benjakiti Park is built around a beautiful lake where children and other visitors can take a dip in. The lake is right in front of the Queen Sirikit Convention Center. This is a perfect place to relax and cool off after a long day touring the city of Bangkok.

This park measures more than 20 hectares and the second park to be built out of former factories of the tobacco corporation will cover twice that size.
