With over 200 years of history, the Biyun Temple is among the class 3 historical sites of Taiwan and is considered by Guanziling's residents as one of the most ancient and important temples in the area. One of the things to look forward to in the temple for travelers is the several rituals being performed here. An example of this is a young boy or girl getting painted with calligraphy all over his/her body which is a ritual for those who are not doing well in school.

Other than traditional Chinese rituals, travelers who are visiting the Biyun Temple will also be treated to a unique view of the clouds along with the Jianan Plain during sunrise and sunset.
