First built in 1640, the Dutch Reformed Church has floors paved with the gravestones from the old Dutch cemetery. The present buildings seen today however, only date back between 1752 and 1755 due to reconstruction after the church was damaged. The church is also home to a 250 year old organ which is still on display today. They also have a pulpit which was made with calamander wood that came from Malaysia. The church is designed with beautiful stained glass windows. Its architecture is of Dutch influence as well.
Services are still held in the Dutch Reformed Church every Sunday.
