There is so much to do all around Manila, starting with live bands and cool places to grab a beer and on to mega clubs that serves various styles of music, mainly house, dance and R n' B.

If you want to check the clubbing scene, go to the fort (Fort Bonafacio) and check out the Embassy Club, which is near a strip of bars and restaurants in Serendra and Bonifacio High Street. You may also check out an array of restaurants serving international dishes at Timog Ave. in Quezon City, a strip of comedy bars in E. Rodriguez Ave. (also in Quezon CIty), and clubs in Malate, at the heart of Manila.

The Manila Bay also has a long strip of night haunts, particlarly at the Harbor Area near the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Roxas Blvd., Manila. The SM Mall of Asia, one of the world's largest malls, has a backyard strip of bars and restaurants offering lively music, diverse food, and sometimes, even concerts by international performers.

In Ortigas Center, there is the Ortigas Metrowalk with its share of bars, discos and restaurants. In Makati City, Greenbelt 2 and 3 are the places to be for dining or all-night drinking. Jupiter and Neptune Streets and the nearby A. Venue are also in Makati. These have various diners and discos such as The Bureau and Fiamma, which are popular among the Filipino college students and elites. Saguijo, an indie bar in Guijo Street, Makati, is another favorite hangout place for those enthralled with the indie music scene. Its counterpart is Mogwai Bar in Cubao Expo.

For a one-stop shop in diverse night entertainment, try Eastwood City in Libis. Apart from bars and restaurants, it also has ballroom dancing clubs and arcade shops.

Manila does not have a Broadway Boulevard like in New York, but Club Mwah! in Boni Ave., Pasig serves a similar a Las Vegas-type of entertainment that is simply world-class.
