Haunted Philippines

One of the scariest places in the Philippines is the Manila Film Center in Pasay City.
A palace-like center initiated by the infamous Imelda Marcos during the Marcos dictatorship, its construction was rushed to meet the deadline for a film festival in the 80s. However, it resulted in the collapse of an upper floor during the pouring of cement, sending countless workers into a sea of fresh cement and upright steel bars that invariably buried them alive or hung them like barbeque.
Then things got a little bizarre. Up until now, it is believed that Imelda immediately ordered the workers to pave the tragedy site - yes, that's right - the contractors poured cement over the remains to stick with the schedule. Since then, it has been the subject of many horror stories, like voices in the dark and countless apparitions asking for help.
So, if you're in for a scary adventure, don't let me stop you from visiting the Manila Film Center.
