Boracay Traveler guide

Tricycles are the main modes of transportation in Boracay. Be wary that the tricycle fare (as of 2008) from Station 1 to Station 2 or from Station 2 to Station 3 and vice versa is only P10 per person. From Station 1 to Station 3, it's supposed to be only P20 per person. If you go further, you will be charged an additional P10 per kilometer.

If you are a foreigner, the drivers would charge you P50 to P70 for a trip that should only be P10, so insist to pay only what is right. Beware that the return trip from Station 1 to 2 or 3 and when it's already nighttime, especially when it's late at night, the fares hike from P10 or P20 to P50 to P70, for locals and foreigners alike. If you don't agree with such price, the drivers usually would not agree to give you a ride.
