Found at the lower end of Session Road, the Public Market of Baguio is always a stop for visitors from the lowland. They sell local produce and goods made in the city such as mangoes, fresh flowers, Baguio sausages and more. Other popular items here are woodcarvings and figurines such as the infamous Barrel Man sculpture. It holds a really big surprise.
Also sold in the Public Market are fresh strawberries grown in the nearby strawberry farm which are available during certain months of the year. The bucayo or coconut candy is another popular item.
If you feel like having a shot at the local cuisine, the Public Market is lined with small food stalls as well. Food here are usually very cheap and taste pretty good.
