There are pickpockets, bag slashers and thieves in Session Road's overpass so be extra careful when passing through it. Keep your belongings close to your body and do not cross especially at night. There are also petty criminals in the nearby market and in Burnham Park. Everywhere in Baguio, however, is pretty free of crimes and pickpockets, but it still pays to be extra careful. If ever you've become a victim to any of these crimes, approach an officer immediately. The market and Burnham Park have their own police outposts. There is also a police desk stationed at Session Road's overpass, although sometimes there is no police officer in sight.
