Arulmigu Karumariamman Temple

The Arulmigu Karumariamman Temple is a Hindu temple which was first built more than a hundred years ago. It was originally an estate temple to serve the estate workers who lives in the area. However, the temple was removed during the creation of a new township by the government in the 70s. Due to the clamor of the people, the government decided to build a new temple.

Costing RM2.3 million, the construction of the Arulmigu Karumariamman Temple began in 1996. It is dedicated to Arulmigu Karumariamman. This towering structure is decorated with several statues and figurines depicting different characters and gods of the Hindi belief.
