Laos' Tad Lo Falls is one of the Bolaven Plateau's crown jewels. The 10m cascade may not short in comparison to others, but its structure is breathtaking. Fresh water from the elevation descends on the lush, green wall, down to the tiered granite and to the cool and clean pool; Tad Lo is so beautiful, it seems deliberate. Trekkers surveying the plateau stop by the falls just to gaze at Nature's raw splendor; luckily, it is one of the most accessible sights around. Navigating around the area is not so difficult either, with the rock formations at the bottom of the falls that act as a small staircase. Tourists can either use the tiers to go around the area or to just sit down and feel the water fall upon one's shoulders. A nifty note though: fun ends at 8PM, when the floodgates of the nearby dam opens.
