Japan Traveler guide

There shouldn't be that much problem roaming around Japan's cities, especially in Tokyo, as some of the street signs have romanized translations.  If you still find yourself lost in translation, you can head to a Koban police box scattered in the city.  Japanese cops may be able to guide you to where you want to go.  Otherwise, the bookstores have a collection of travel guides and itineraries written in English, telling you where to go, what to do, and whatnot.
