Tiberias has some of the exciting festivals such as the Spots Festival held on January. It hosts the elite runner from all over the world. It is the only marathon in the world held entirely below sea level. The Tiberias Water Festival is held during the Passover which is a 5 day event of concert, organized tours, art fairs and street parades.
