Built in 1780 by Al-Jazzar, Hammam al-Pasha or Turkish Haman is a Turkish style bathhouse. It was used from the year it was constructed all the way to the 1940s. Today, although it isn't used by people to clean behind their ears, it remains as a popular tourist destination.
Aside from the wonderful exhibit that takes tourists through the former dressing rooms, steam rooms and other parts of the Turkish Haman, there is also a multimedia presentation available. The presentation shows "The Story of the Last Bath Attendant" and lasts for about 30min. It is a very interesting presentation which makes a visit here even more worthwhile.
