Mehtab Bagh

The Mehtab Bagh or Moonlight Garden is an extension of the Taj Mahal Garden on the other side of the river. The garden was said to have lost in charm years after it was constructed. Fortunately, the Mehtab Bagh was excavated in the 90s after decades of being covered in mud. The design of this garden was to give visitors an exceptionally wonderful view of the Taj Mahal. There is an octagonal pool as well as the position of the river which will reflect the mausoleum. The view from the Mehtab Bagh is said to be better than the view from the front of the Taj Mahal. There are several fragrant flowers planted at the park as well which gives it an even better atmosphere.
